The Bees Knees

April 24, 2021 - 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Free

EVENT TYPE: Zoom Panel.

Bees are a vital part of the fabric of life. And they sure do make it delicious around here. Not only creating honey but pollinating crops and carrying out other functions that impact you and me daily. Find out what wonderful creations can come from this fabulous species, how they work, and why the disappearance of them and other pollinators is something we should all be paying attention to.

Presentations by:

Oscar Villa, Owner of Bee-utiful Honey & Candles
John Mitchell, former assistant research scientist at SynTech

Moderated by Festival Curator Kathleen Mitchell.

*Donations handled through THE STILL POINT THEATRE COLLECTIVE*

The festival is an entirely volunteer effort without any funding. These amazing presenters have chosen to donate their time. Giving ensures that we are able to support their efforts and continue to bring you this festival for free every year until we avert climate change.
